The International committee raise funds at their annual quiz night and fish 'n chips supper for international charities.

The annual International Quiz and fish 'n chips supper was held at the Emmanuel United Reformed Church West Wickham, where 15 teams of 8 players each hotly contested the outcome. This year the event was again completely sold out and we are very grateful for the continuing support of our local fellow Rotary clubs.

Congratulations to the team from the Rotary Beckenham (and friends) for winning in a close fought contest ... the top 3 teams were separated by only 3 points! It was a great fun evening with delicious local fish and chips and prizes of wine for the quiz winners and runners up.The proceeds raised this year are over £1,200 ... the total is still to finalised. This will be shared between 3 international charities; Medecins sans Frontieres, Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide and Shelterbox

Our grateful thanks go to Rev. Bill Bowman for providing the venue and for acting as the quizmaster. Our thanks also also for the generosity of members who donated raffle prizes.
