Funds Raised for Midlands Air Ambulance Calculated

Oswestry Rotary Club has raised funds for the MAA by collecting foreign, outdated and unwanted foreign coins. Today we received the calculation of the value!


Today we were notified that the old and redundant coins collected by Club members for the Midlands Air Ambulance raised £51.98 which had been paid by Cash4Coins directly into the charity's bank account.

In addition, the Euro coinage extracted before sending the coins to be counted raised £30.00, there was a bag of 'shrapnel' small uk coins which totalled about £7.00 and an old £5.00 note which was accepted by the bank.

In all, the MAA will receive about £94.00 from our foreign coin collection - better than leaving it lying around at the back of the drawer somewhere!
