This year Penrith Rotary Club’s annual charity golf day raised some £4500 for a range of charities supported by the Club including local charities Hospice at Home and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice. The President of Penrith Rotary Club Dawn Smart, seen here with Rotarians David Harle and Alex Buchan, handed over a cheque for £1,000 to Mike Clementson who represented Hospice at Home. Later that day another cheque for £1,000 was presented to Sam Johnson at the Jigsaw Children’s Hospice.
The balance of the money raised at the golf day will be used
to support the local community, youth activities in our local schools, and
overseas relief, health and welfare projects in need of our support.
