Rotary District 1180 Quiz Third Round v Wrexham Erddig @ 7:00pm, The Griffin Inn, Oswestry

Our team progressed to the Third Round of this year's competition


We started really well and were ahead after four rounds but then the wheels came off.  We failed to score a single point for three rounds and so had a massive deficit to make up.

We rallied well and were catching them by the end but lost the final round so went down 68-48 in the end.

Still Erddig were a strong team and we made them work hard for the win. It was a fun evening with good fellowship all round.

We had great support from our members and sterling work from John Ward as quizmaster, Denzil as timekeeper and my Linda as scorer.

The Griffin Inn proved to be a good venue and they provided an excellent selection of free sandwiches!!
