2018 Christmas Coffee Morning raises £2,000 for Rebecca House

The Inner Wheel Club of Rushen & Western Mann with support from Rotary Club members has raised £2,000 for Rebecca House Children's Hospice at their Christmas Coffee Morning held at the Civic Community Centre in Castletown.

Each year the ladies of Inner Wheel organise the event serving coffee and mince pies and bring along lots of Christmas goodies for sale. The ladies also do lots of baking for the coffee morning including beautifully decorated Christmas cakes baked by Lynda Warren, one of the Inner Wheel members.

A highlight of the morning was the attendance of Arbory Primary School Choir who sang a selection of Christmas carols to entertain the crowd.

This year’s chosen charity of Inner Wheel President Mary-Jean Lindon is Hospice IOM and she went along to Rebecca House with colleagues to present the cheque.
