The Rotary Joint 10 Quiz. 2018

The annual Joint 10 quiz was held this year in the banqueting suite of The Fairway, Elmhirst Lane,Dodworth, on Thursday evening the 29th November 2018.

The event was organised by Past President of Stainborough Laura Mackfall, ably 
assisted by Geoff (Question Master) & Norma Goodlad, and Nigel Mackfall the scoring adjudicator.

Raffle prizes were donated by the clubs who attended.

This social fundraising event raised over £500 for charitable purposes and was well attended by Rotarians, their partners and friends, almost one hundred of us in total from the Rotary Clubs of Stainborough, Barnsley , Wakefield, Wakefield Chantry, Doncaster St George, Osgoldcross & Elmet, Pontefract and Normanton.

Sixteen teams took part in the actual quiz, which this year was won by “Normanton Nomads”.

The members of this team being Peter and Angela Boulton, Eileen Kirkham, Kathleen Dunn, Stephen Woodcock and Alan Drewitt. A team from Wakefield calling themselves 
IKATZHOMASINA came second, a team from Stainborough calling themselves 5 Acres Frisks came third.
