The Chew Valley Santa Scramble is in its second year and many would say the best way to start the festive season. Simply run, walk, jog, sprint or toddle around a marshalled route dressed like Santa! This morning of festive family activity took place on Sunday 2nd December and comprised of two fun runs. The 5K Santa Scramble (its route crossed fields and lanes, starting and finishing at Chew Valley School) and for the younger members of the family the 1k mini Santa Scramble. A shorter version of the 5K and all contained within the school grounds. Parents joined in the fun and accompany their child but, in the spirit of Christmas, festive dress was obligatory!
To add to that warm, fuzzy glow that running dressed like Santa will provide, all money raised supports Chew Valley School and local charity Mend the Gap
