In support of the Woburn Sands Night Shelter

On Saturday 3rd November, we held our second Coffee morning with a Table Top Sale, in aid of the Woburn Sands Night Shelter.

In total we raised almost £500.00 from both coffee mornings, £264.65 from 3rd November and £232.50 in July.

This money will help the organisaton provide supervised overnight accommodaton and meals to homeless and vulnerable people who would otherwise be rough sleeping in Milton Keynes during the coldest months of the year (November–March).

In additon to essental shelter, the staff and trained volunteers provide year-round welfare support. They enable their guests to access drug and alcohol support services, to obtain housing advice, move on to longer-term accommodaton and to fnd work.

As members of the WS&D Rotary club, through these coffee mornings
and other events, we help make all this possible.
