Dome Walk - October 2018

A bright and cold October morning saw a party of 8 club members and guests join in the sponsored walk across the O2 dome, in support of Rotary Internatioal charity "End Polio Now" 

The event was organized by District 1120 and many local clubs were present. District Governor, Brenda Parsons was on the climb as was PDG Chris Barnett. In due course we expect to hear from District, the total of the funds raised through sponsorship for charity.

After the climb, lunch at a local restaurant was organized for the participants.

4th April 2019

DG Brenda Parsons joined the club for lunch and presented President Tony and Foundation Chair Richard with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Rotary Foundation in respect of the funds raised by the club for the End Polio Now campaign.
