Prestwick Rotarians meet M.A.D. Productions

Artistic madness was in the air at a recent Prestwick Rotary Club meeting, with a virtuoso performance of talent from local resident/actor/artist/musician Ken O'Hara. He sang some of his own songs plus a few by other artists. Ken then donned his tammy and gave an excellent rendition of Tam O’Shanter before changing again into an old pair of shoes and jacket to take on another character to give us second monologue.

He is a retired primary school teacher who now showcases a variety of skills as M.A.D. Productions. Ken is in demand as an actor, and is particularly adept at monologues, which in themselves demand great powers of learning, recall and delivery. He can paint very well, creating abstracts, portraits or landscapes, and will take on painting commissions.

Ken can sing and compose songs, and can play guitar and harmonica. In all, a real virtuoso, who deserved a hearty vote of thanks from Rotarian Lindsay Smith. Ken is a very entertaining and versatile talent. He can be found on www.kensmad.com.
