Llandudno Rotary was was honoured to have as its guest speaker Mr. Brian Lammond of ReMap UK (on Twitter as @RemapUK) who spoke of the work their volunteers do to help make life a little easier for thousands of people

Remap is a charity that produces aids and equipment for disabled people – a free service provided entirely by volunteers who enjoy rising to the challenge of crafting a piece of equipment that is tailor-made to suit the specific needs of one individual and is for their personal use only

Remap often works with health professionals (e.g. occupational therapists) to get the right solution but they are also happy to talk to individuals about their particular needs

A “one-off” charity that’s helped 4,000 people a year to find their own “one-off” solutions. Every year since 1964! Find them at www.remap.org.uk
