Prestwick Rotary Club annual festive musical evening
Once again we have this very popular event to look forward to. Matt Train is organising his fellow Rotarians and willing helpers to put together a festive evening of music and singing to celebrate Christmas 2017. The music will be provided by The South Ayrshire Schools band and singers. The evening will include festive carols, for loud and enjoyable audience participation.
The venue is St Nicholas Parish Church, Prestwick where our host will be The Reverend George Fiddes. So mark up Friday 15 December 2017 in your diary now, with a concert start at 7.30 pm. The event is free, with teas and coffee and mince pies provided in the church hall following the event. Posters will be distributed throughout Prestwick as a reminder.
It is a great evening for all the family - young and old. A charity collection will be taken at the interval, with money raised going to local needs. It is a great evening with amazing music from young, talented musicians, in a church which has a marvellous atmosphere with acoustics to match. Tickets are available throughout Prestwick from churches, and some retail outlets.
If you have any bother getting a ticket, call in The Parkstone Hotel any Thursday evening, where Rotarians gather for their regular weekly meeting.
