Ayrshire is alive with
young musical talent. Prestwick Rotary Club members are keen to support and
encourage youngsters in expressing themselves through music. Blair McMeechan is
a percussionist, and School Captain of Prestwick Academy. Japan is a country
renown for drumming, and Blair is going there shortly with an Ayrshire fiddle
orchestra. Rotary Club President Richie Cameron presents Blair with a £100
cheque towards his trip, which should be an amazing experience.
