Charter Night and Handover 2018

Our 43rd Charter Celebration was held at Reids, Billericay. 
Arriving on a balmy summer's evening, some guests were adorned in shorts, but they were there to watch World Cup football in the lounge bar. We were dressed in black tie - with our respective Rotarian Regalia, etc and our ladies in evening dresses 

Organised predominantly by Helder Lemos and Ian Churley, the venue had been chosen to meet the anticipated numbers coming and with 47 attending, including District Governor, Lesley Sulley and AG Dave Eagle. The function room was full and a good atmosphere was created by Diane Moore, our lively entertainer. She got us going with songs and many of us visited the dance floor. Sally had created the table flower arrangements and Edna had provided the little table gifts for the ladies.

This was also our Presidential Handover when outgoing President Helder passed the reins and chain to incoming President Ian Churley. We wish him a good year
