World Cup 2018 Sweepstake

Le Foot Vient A La Maison De John Powell!


Well, it wouldn't be a World Cup without a Sweepstake so some of the members of Oswestry Rotary Club have invested the sum of £2 per team to pledge their loyalty for the next month to one of the competing teams.

Note: the winner will be given half the stake ie £32 with the other half going to the Club's Charity Account!

After a case of mistaken identity, here is the line up for the Finals!

Final 2 :

Croatia : Tony Ridge
France : John Powell

And the winner was John Powell (who never wins anything - he says!).
