Club Night - 26/03/18

Monday was a Rotary business night.  At the start of the evening a donation was made to representatives from I19th Ayrshire Scout Group.  Three Scouts and one Explorer from the group are the only scouts from North Ayrshire to have been selected to go to the World Scout Jamboree being held in West Virginia, USA next year. They will be part of 1200 scouts going from Scotland as part of a 4000 strong UK contingent.  

It was reported that St Marks won the Primary School Quiz last Friday – a new winner for the first time in nine years.  Arrangements are well under way for our forthcoming Charity Race Night on Friday 27th April at Irvine Golf Club. Tickets can be obtained from any Seagate member. In the monthly charity raffle, Hugh Hutchison was delighted to go home with a nice bottle of champagne. 

Next week Seagate will be taking a break for the Easter Holidays but on Monday 9th April, the club will be addressed by Donna Fitzpatrick from Fullarton Community Hub.
