International Quiz and fish 'n chips supper

The annual International Quiz and fish 'n chips supper was held at the Emmanuel United Reformed Church West Wickham, where the teams hotly contest the outcome.

This year the event was completely sold out with a record 15 tables on the evening, each with 8 players.

We are grateful to our local fellow Rotary and Roteract clubs for their generous support, which has resulted in a record of over £1,350 raised for our chosen charity.

As last year, the  proceeds will again go to the international charity Medecins sans Frontieres. 

Congratulations to the Rotary Beckenham team for winning in a close fought contest.

Again, this was a great fun evening with delicious local fish and chips and prizes of wine for the quiz winners and runners up. 

Our grateful thanks to Rev. Bill Bowman for providing the venue and for acting as quizmaster.

Our thanks also for the generosity of members who donated raffle prizes.

At a club lunch in September, President Tony and honorary Rotarion Rev. Bill Bowman presented the club's cheque to Amy, who joined us for lunch and gave an interesting talk to members on the work of MSF.
