The Rotary Club of Dunstable welcomes another new member, Peter Holmes.

His working life started at Empire Rubber Co where he trained as an apprentice draughtsman. Once qualified, he moved on to other things, and became an engineering representative, still in the rubber industry but also moving into plastics and metal production.

 He joined a metal pressing company based in Northampton and became Sales Director and part owner.

 A widower, he has two grown up children. His son, Lee, lives in Spain and his daughter, Andrea, was given our club’s Rotary Award in 1992 for services to trampolining and raising Dunstable’s profile!

 His main activity these days is gardening.

 We welcome him to our club, in the Foundation committee, where he will n be a valued member.
