Christmas Lunch 21st December 2017

Sixty-three of us enjoyed an excellent three course traditional lunch, with all the trimmings.

Lunch was followed by some seasonal and humorous thoughts from Rev. Bill Bowman, who reminded us of the essential spirit of Christmas.

Then President Peter performed two pleasant duties. First came the induction of new Rotarian John Philp and this was followed by the presentation of a Paul Harris Fellowship Award to past President Bill Fairhall.

Finally past President Charles Wood introduced our Rotary Scholar for 2017 - Jacob Kuhri, who gave a short and interesting account of his life from Jordan to southern California.
