CLUB NIGHT - 27/11/17

On Monday, President Eric Greig had the pleasant duty of inducting a new member into Irvine Seagate Rotary.  Sanchana Senanayaka, a business manager, was welcomed by all present.

Monday was a club business night.  It was noted that the recent Poppy Scotland appeal in Irvine, at Tesco and Sainsbury’s, supported by Seagate and other local organisations, had raised over £5,500, which was more than the previous year’s total.  Seagate will be having their Christmas party night on 11 December, and the annual Burns Supper on 12 February.  The Sportsmen’s Dinner, to raise funds for the club’s charity account, will be at Marress on Friday 23 February, with speakers Frank McAvennie and Scott Glynn.
