Club Night - 30/10/17

Monday evening was a club business meeting at Irvine Seagate Rotary.  Various items of future fund raising and community involvement were discussed.  It was confirmed that Seagate will be assisting with the collections for Poppy Scotland at Sainsbury’s & Tesco's in November, and will  be contributing to a children’s charity at Christmas. 

Socially, four members visited the lead mining museum at Wanlockhead on Sunday.  The museum was closed, but they had a good wander around the site and a stroll to the top of the Lowther hills in the sunshine.  The hotel has its own micro brewery.  Seagate’s meeting on 13 November will be a Ten Pin Bowling night in Kilmarnock, including the annual challenge match against the Incorporation of Skinners of Irvine.
