Mid Kent College Freshers Fair

We were delighted  to attend the 2017 Mid Kent College Freshers Fair at their campus in Gillingham on Wednesday 27th September to tell all the students about the exciting Rotary competitions especially for young people.

Over 1000 students from a wide range of courses visited the fair and whilst we couldn't compete with the draw of the nearby free pizza offered by a well known pizza chain, we did get the chance to talk to some amazing young people about the opportunities for them to take part.  

With Youth Speaks, Young Musician, a technology tournament , Young Photographer , Young Writer and our very own Young Chef competition there was something for everyone.

In addition  there was interest shown in the Rotary Youth Exhange and  Rotary Youth Leaders Award schemes which give young people exciting opportunities to stretch themselves.

All in all a very satisfying day!
