TV Conwy
On Tuesday, 5th September 25 Rotarians and their friends and guests were enthralled by the story that lies behind TV Conwy, as told by directors (voluntary and unpaid) Debbie Braden and Anna-Marie Munro in their “dynamic duo” presentation.
TV Conwy’s original objective four years ago was to obtain Government funding as an approved local TV station but although this did not happen, the organisation has thrived and prospered in a different direction.
Using the Conwy County as its catchment area, TV Conwy has become an enabler, facilitator and publiciser of many local events organized by voluntary bodies, adding professionalism to the publicity output of many local organisatons.
A by-product is being able to offer (again, sadly, unpaid) experience in a media environment – an offer that has often proved attractive to media students from Llandrillo College.
The clear message is that If you want help with promotiing your local voluntary organisation – or you are an individual who is interested in developing their media skills, TV Conwy is the “go to” organisation. So, why not go to http://tvconwy.net/
back Blood Bikes Wales is the eye-catching name for a group of dedicated volunteers who come together as a registered charity to transport blood and other urgently needed medical material from one NHS base in Wales to another
