Seagate Rotary had an indoor games night on Monday, with Dominoes, Jenga and Putting. Despite the informal and social intent, competitive streaks were evident and the occasional mild criticism of the umpire overheard.
Eventual clear winner of the Ptting was Billy Dickson, with Jim Fairgrieve taking the Dominoes and Andy Slater the Jenga. The evening was organised by Pam Lodge’s social committee, and a Vote of Thanks was proposed by Andy Slater.
Next week’s meeting will be a club business night, and on Wednesday 27 September there will be a visit to the hidden underground tunnels of the Glasgow Central Station.
