First Round of This Year's District Quiz v Dolgellau

Oswestry Rotary Club Win First Round of the Quiz.

Despite being one man short, our Club managed a nail-biting finish, ending 49 all and then winning in extra time 11 - 7, reports President Dave (from a local pub by the sound of his telephone call).

This year our team has been drawn away against Dolgellau in the first round of the Rotary District 1180 Quiz to be held at The Royal Ship Hotel Dolgellau from 6.00pm promptly.

For those who would like to support our team, you are very welcome to attend. 

The quiz itself should start about 7.00pm but there will be a one course dinner at 6.00pm at the hotel before the quiz at a cost of £10 for the team and supporters.

Meals for the team have already been booked, but if anyone else wants to go they should book in via the Dolgellau secretary Henry Edwards henrymedwards1@btinternet.com or they could just turn up after the meal and support!
