Immediate Past President Liz Gouldson visited Trowbridge Sea Cadets recently to present a donation of £500. The money was raised at the club’s annual President’s Night and will support T.S. Achilles activities. The presentation took place at Westbury Lakes where the cadets were learning boating skills as part of their training.
Trowbridge Wessex Mead Rotary Club have donated a further £2,100 between July 2016 and June 2017 to a variety of local and Rotary charities as well as supporting local events such as Carnival and Trowbridge in Bloom Youth Speaks. The next event is a Fun Dog Show at the Carnival Country Fayre in Trowbridge Park on 2 nd September raising funds for Canine Partners.
Joining a Rotary club is an excellent way to develop new friendships as well as get involved in worthwhile service projects both in the local area and further afield. We have a varied membership made up of men and women from the local community and are looking for new members.
