Amersham Young Artist Competition

Pupils from six local schools participated in the recent Rotary Young Artist Competition. They were invited to create a painting or artwork on the theme  of 'Reflection'.

Entries in three categories - Junior ( 7-10 ) Intermediate ( 11 -13 ) Senior ( 14-17 ) were submitted from schools across three counties which resulted in nine local finalists and six outright winners who each received a Certificate and voucher for £25 to be redeemed for artists materials at Arty's Art Shop in Amersham.

Four pupils from Pipers Corner School, Great Kingshill can be seen here displaying their winning artwork presented by Rotary in Amersham President David Bevan and fellow Rotarian Andrew Warren.
