End of term.  End of Year.

But no let up for our RotaKids at Buttsbury Junior School!

It’s Monday July 17, 2017 and the last week of term and the date of the school Fun Run.

The whole school - nearly 500 young pupils turned out to support the RotaKids final Fundraising event of the year.  Each pupil paid at least £1.00 to take part and everybody joined in.

Objective - complete as many laps of the school field in 30 minutes, and collect a coloured “dot” on their arm for each completed lap.

Year 3 started the event at just after 09.30 and year 6 ended it at the end of the morning.

Not only did they raise a "Large Sum" for Great Ormond Street Hospital but they all had lots of fun, waving as they ran past (although the printing that characterised the beginning soon gave way to a slower measured pace.
