Shortlands Station Fun Day - June 2017

The Shortlands Station Fun Day

This was held on Saturday 24th June and was a great success. Almost £2,300 was raised for the two charities - Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre and Bromley/Lewisham Mind.

Rotary Beckenham had a stall at the Fun Day, telling visitors about the Rotary organisation in general and the club's work and fund raising for charities.

We also promoted our forthcoming Charity Swimalong on 8th October at West Wickham Swimming Baths and we raised £74 by raffle for the charity we are supporting, Fighting Poverty in Zambia.
