Young Motorcross Rider with Amniotic Band Syndrome supported

Manx youngster TJ Teare was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome meaning he has lost his fingers and thumb. It's not stopped him from participating in motocross, though. To help him compete in the UK during 2017, the Club have made a small donation.

Eight year old TJ Teare was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome which caused him to lose his fingers and thumb.

The Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann decided to help following an appeal earlier this year by his family for help in covering the costs of participating in motocross.

TJ has his eyes set on competing in the British Motocross Championships this year.

TJ's father, James Teare thanked the club for its donation of £250 saying:
" Thank you very much for your help, I can't tell you how much I have been struggling to try and get him to the British Champuionship, every penny means so so much, thank you so much."
