Medway Sunlight Rotary Club approached Phil Taylor the CEO of ArcelorMittal Kent Wire Ltd for help in repairing the main entrance gates at the Rainham Oast Community Centre.

The Community Centre is being revived by a small band of volunteers determined to make more use of this wonderful facility standing next to Rainham Railway Station and who needed help in making the site more secure and welcoming.

Phil's company, based in Chatham Docks, was only too happy to donate the materials needed and also arranged  for it to be fitted free of charge.  A great gesture in helping the local community.
