One of the Club's own members was the speaker on 28 February 2017.  Rotarian Rosalind Hopewell spoke of her experiences on running a bistro for six years in the royal town of Windsor.  In a nutshell, Rosalind's message was "expect the unexpected" and "never forget that the customer is paying for everything - you, your staff, your rates and taxes - everything".  Rosalind's remarks were a precis of the book she has written about her experiences, and they were received with empathy - particularly from those Rotarians who run, or had run, businesses themselves.

The Club was also pleased to welcome the present Assistant District Governor, Bob Maskell, and the incoming ADG, Terry Bolton, both of whom spoke briefly on their favourable impressions on how the Club is progressing.
