We win the Area final of the District Quiz

We met at Erwood with Abertillary Rotary Club....

The Wheelwright Arms in Erwood has become a regular venue for meeting ( and beating ) other Rotary Clubs in the Area rounds of the Rotary District 1150 quiz. After a tasty meal the two teams met head to head in a battle of wits. Our newest team member Clive came up trumps on the sport related questions and he, with Kim and Dave, ploughed through the 10 rounds of 6 questions beating Abertillary 51 to 45. We have mixed feelings on this well deserved win - proud of the teams achievements but concerned as to where the next round against Area 4 will be held.....hopefully not Swansea. Though we could crash at Rotary member Kevin's home of course!!
