Each year, Rotary selects up to 130 individuals from around the world to receive fully funded academic fellowships at one of our peace centres. These fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses.
Applications for a Peace Fellowship will normally be supported by a Rotary Club. Members of the club might meet with the potential applicant and then support them in the application that is then submitted to the Rotary District.
Timetable
Deadline for applications to be submitted to our district, District 1090: end May each year
Deadline for districts to submit applications to Rotary Foundation head office: 1st July each year
If you are unable to find a local club then contact David Rogers using the form at the foot of this page.
The Rotary Foundation pages have lots of information about the fellowships, about the seven universities that host Rotary Peace Centres and about the growing alumni body
The full application process is explained on the Rotary Foundation pages.
Watch a short video of Rotary Peace Fellows talking about their work.
Please note that Rotary Peace Fellowships are different to Rotary Scholarships and the schemes are administered in different ways. Read more about how to apply for a Rotary Scholarship on the Rotary Scholars in District 1090 website www.rotaryscholars1090.org
