Fun charity quiz night with supper at the Baron

This was another enjoyable evening, with regular team members Colin, Ann, Carole and Martin and the First Responders team welcomed, as well as newcomers from Classrooms in the Clouds and guests of regulars Steve and Vi. We also welcomed Ivan and Cathy's guests Ian and Theresa. The contest was hard fought with many challenging questions and, out of about 100 points the highest two scores were 64 from the CITC team and the Smith & Thorp team. So down to a tie break, which went to Shayne, Hazel and the CITC team. They tweeted later that they are better as an away team than a home team, referring to their CITC quiz defeat by the Smiths, Thorps and Barrett a few weeks ago! Many thanks to QM Paul and to everyone who supported the event - over £150 raised for local First Responders who do a great job.
