Santa Sleigh collection - St Thomas Church - Touring Lamplands and York Road arriving at St Thomas Church Sun 18th followed by carol service.

Santa Sleigh Collections 2016.
Organised led and driven by Ian, Santa collections started Tues 29th Nov with the Birstall Lights switch on.
First street collection was 30th Nov around Hillhead followed by Moat Hill 5th, Woodlands7th and the next schedule visit for Santa was unexpectedly cancelled by Tesco. Ian sprung into action and reorganised Tesco for Wed 21st.
Mon 12th was Foxglove followed by Millerscroft 14th and last tour was around St Thomas Church on Sun 18th .
Added to this Ian with Santa Bill and Santa Robert showed Santa to the pupils at Fairfield school plus visits to local Birstall infants schools. Whew well done.
Thanks also to Bill for his upkeep of the Sleigh with extra lights this year.
