Collect your foreign or obsolete currency for the Midlands Air Ambulance

The Rotary Club of Oswestry wants to help the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAA) save lives airlifting people to hospital across the Midlands.  On average a child is airlifted every four days and up to three horse riders per week are airlifted with road traffic collisions making up around 35% of their missions; all events with which we can closely identify. Lives are saved by saving time and, with each mission costing £2,500 largely funded by donations from the public, the MAA need help and the Rotary Club have an easy way to make your redundant money work.

How? Join in The Rotary Club of Oswestry's Midlands Air Ambulance Cash4Coins Appeal and go on a Treasure Hunt around your home to gather all your unwanted old and foreign currency together.  Obsolete?  No worries - it all counts.  Don't stop there either. If you have a stash of loose change somewhere in the house where you empty your pockets or purses to make way for the bigger coins, they'll be happy to take that too.  In short, they want all your unwanted currency!

When you have collected it, you can drop it off in the Rotary's collection buckets at the Reception at The Wynnstay Hotel or their Spa in Oswestry.  All currency collected will be converted by Cash4Coins to make a donation to the MAA towards their running costs of £7m per annum.  Each donation, however large or small, will help save more lives.

So, if you have foreign currency left over from that holiday a few years back lying forgotten at the back of a drawer, ask your family, friends and neighbours to join in your Treasure Hunt and donate because the MAA can use that old money.
