Christmas dinner at the Stagg in Titley

With good food ( though indifferent turkey) good company and lively entertainment, this was one of the best evenings we have had at Christmas. It was wonderful to welcome Pat to the gathering and we enjoyed sharing the evening with her. We also warmly welcomed Sandie, Jean, Peter and Mary, and Janet. Patrick, Brian, Norman, Dorothy, NIck, Ivan and Cathy told stories and read prose and poetry all related to the festive season. But the undoubted highlight was Bruce's attempts at getting us to sing carols in tune, and his efforts to get us to sing 12 days of Christmas in parts resulted in much hilarity. We also raised over £75 from our communal Christmas card for DebRA..... Many thanks to everyone ( especially Bruce, Brian and Christine ) for making the evening one to remember.....
