Unofficial Poppy Walk - May 2016

An annual circular walk in London to raise money for the British Legion Poppy appeal

Unofficial Poppy Walk 22nd May 2016

The 8th Unofficial Poppy Walk raises money for the Royal British Legion and took place this year on Sunday 22nd May. The Poppy Walk is a 10km (or more) circular walk around central London answering a set of devilish questions on route.

The selection of pictures taken en route and at The Phoenix afterwards include,

· the poppies at Figure Court (RHC) – that will feature on the Chelsea Flower Show programmes,

· the exquisite Michelin/Bibendum building,

· the elephant at one of the corners at the Albert Memorial that featured in your tie break.

£270 was raised for the Legion on the day, but the final total should be over £300.
