Unlocking Futures - Thanks to Rotary

Hope and Homes for Children is one of our chosen Soapbox Derby charities. Our club, along with other Rotary clubs, have supported this charity over the long term, and it is one of our District Governor’s chosen charities too.

We were delighted recently to receive a message of thanks from Catherine Butt, their Rotary Liaison Manager.

She says: “I would like to share with you our success in 2015 and thank you again for your very generous donation last year.  As Hope and Homes for Children aims to eradicate institutional care in Romania for good by 2020, the Unlocking Futures project supported by Rotary is crucial. With Rotary support, we were able to support 123 young adults to live independently.  Without your continued support we wouldn’t be able to stay on track with this goal, therefore I really hope that you decide to support us again this year.
