Rotaventure - 10 Pin Bowling, The Venue, Park Hall, 6.30pm

10 Pin Bowling at The Venue


We had a great night with some good fellowship and very unusual bowling styles!!  2 ladies and a nameless gent (President) managed to actually bowl backwards, towards the spectators!

President Mike as you can see, decided to take advantage of St Patrick's day and dressed appropriately.   Unfortunately, his false beard must have affected his vision as he initially missed all the pins on 3 consecutive throws!  He did manage to recover and gave a good account of himself in the end.

John Davies was highest male scorer by some fluke and Nonna Drinnan was highest female scorer.  Muriel's team beat Mike's team on points although both teams won a set each. 

There will be follow up competition towards the end of the year.

This year's Rotaventure activities commence with an evening of 10 Pin Bowling at The Venue, Park Hall.

There will be a “basket” meal and then 2 games of bowling interspersed with alcoholic beverages.

A chance to see if Pres Mike’s new wooden leg holds up!
