Wicken First Responders benefit
Essential piece of equipment can now be purchased.
President Bruce, on behalf of the Soham Rotary Club, presented Wicken First Responder's representative, Stuart Hamilton, with a cheque for £304. This will allow the group to purchase a much needed pulse oximeter for their response kit. This instrument is essential in measuring a patient's blood oxygen level in the assessment of their potentail first response treatment. Stuart, also the landlord of The Maid's head pub where Soham Rotary meet, was delighted to receive the cheque and stressed how benefitial this extra piece of equipment would be for the Wicken Responders Team.
