90th Anniversary Celebrations

Around 100 people celebrated the 90th anniversary of the foundation of the Epsom Rotary Club

Around a hundred people, including Chris Grayling, our MP, and Chris Frost, our mayor, gathered at Denbies Vineyard to celebrate the anniversary occasion.  Guests included our contact club from Chantilly, Rotaractors, Associate members and representatives from other local clubs.  The evening started with a champagne reception in the large upstairs welcoming room where a display of historical photos was shown.  Downstairs in the tasting area of the winery was the main event, where beautiful decorated table awaited us.  The food was great and a piano player provided background music. After dinner (and after the speeches) we were entertained with singing.

Altogether a fitting evening to mark an historic occasion.

Many people worked to make the evening a success, but none harder than Andy Ballard and Barb Warwick who had spent a year planning and developing the event.  Our thanks to both of them.
