N Shrops Special Olympics Group W Mids XC Trefonen School Playing Fields 9.45am to 12noon

Today Oswestry Rotary Club members and friends were pleased to act as Marshals for the annual Special Olympics event.

Dozens of athletes of all abilities and ages, from 10 to 70, turned up in their coaches from as far afield as Dudley and Sutton Coldfield  to run the course around the playing fields behind Trefonen School.

Some walked, some ran, but ALL received a medal and lots of applause; judging by the smiles a good time was had by all!
