Over the Friday and Saturday, 3rd & 4th July, record crowds supported this years Beer and Music festival hosted by Soham Rotary Club.
Blueshed studios provided a great stage environment and a diverse range of bands over the 2 day event - providing entertainment for most age groups within the community.
Excellent weather and a great selection of beers and ciders, allowed everyone to enjoy a very relaxed weekend of entertaiment.
In addition to having become a very popular community event, this festival is used by the Rotary Club to primarily support worthy charities and causes. This year's main beneficiary was East Angilan Children's Hospices ( EACH) - a great result for them. The local charity, Molyn Care also benefited along with the Scouts who provided a burger stall at the event.
The Rotary Club would especially like to thank the generous sponsors of the event which considerally helps generate the money raised for charity.
Well done to everyone and we look forward to seeing you next year !!
back In 1993,The Rotary Club held it's first event based at the Pavilion on the town's recreation ground. Since then, through popular support locally and sponsorship, the event has grown into a two day extravaganza. With your support, local charities benefit.
