£23,000 raised for Nepal ShelterBoxes by Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann - July 2015
Since May 2015, the Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann has raised £23,000 towards buying ShelterBoxes. This has been done in partnership with local schools, Peel Charity Shop, Manx Fellrunners and local residents here in the Isle of Man.
Fund raisung has taken a number of forms including street collection and ShelterBox display in Port Erin, a 'Kids Got Talent' showcase concert in Port St Mary, a donation from Peel Charity Shop, fundrasing activities by local schools and Manx Fellrunners plus matchfunding from a private individual.
