Presidents Ladies Night - May 2015

 
Nearly at the end of this Rotary year and it was a great turn out for the Presidents Ladies Night at the Langley Park Golf Club. 

Entertainment  was provided by Peter Boreham on keyboard and by Ita Wise and Chris Beard appearing as Barbara Streisand and Frank Sinatra.

Flowers and wine were presented to Past President John Moren and wife Janet, who together with their family celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary

A special presentation was made to Past President David Rycroft as a memento of his time with Rotary Beckenham. David is soon to be leaving the club as he and his wife Catherine move home to Wallingford. President David expressed well deserved thanks to David for his valuable contribution to Beckenham Rotary  over the years.

Thanks to the excellent attendance, the support of members, wives, guests and other Rotary Clubs and although it was not intended as a fund raising event, the evening raised over £200.00 which will go to a good cause.

A great night of Rotary Fellowship well supported by friends from other Rotary Clubs in the area.
