Monday was Irvine Seagate Rotary's Annual General Meeting. President Fiona Lee reported on a successful year in which the club had been fully active in fundraising, social, charitable and community activities. Highlights had included the Dragon Boat racing, Sportsmen's Dinner, Christmas pensioners' hampers and the Primary Schools quiz, as well as a number of social events. Her most recent commitment had been the presentation of a cheque to Leprosy Mission Scotland. Committee conveners reported on their particular areas of interest.
Following elections, the office bearers for next year, who take over in July, will be President Adam Moonie, Vice President John Brown, Secretary Andy Slater and Treasurer Billy Dickson. Committee conveners will be Fiona Lee, Dan Moriarty, Eric Greig and Pamela Lodge.
