This club meeting will focus on two subjects: Feedback from the RIBI conference in Belfast including the Business meeting plus scholar Luke Schumacher. General Host - Sian F, Cashier - John H, Speaker Host - Roger B.
Rotary GB&I Annual Conference (Britain and Ireland) - Several members are going to Belfast from 10-12 April. At this meeting the club will hear about the highlights from the many and varied presentations included in the conference and also news from the Rotary GB&I Business meeting at which important issues regarding the future structure and managment of Rotary GB&I will have been discussed.
Luke Schumacher will talk to us about his background and aspirations for the future - a Rotary funded Global Scholar from Illinois USA, hosted by Cambridge South during his 10 months in Cambridge by Rtn Paul Dover. He graduated recently from the US Military (ARMY) Academy West Point. He has an interesting background and passions which include American football. He has visited several local clubs to gain a wide experience of Rotary during his stay.
