Quiz Night at Ingatestone 2015

Joining Ingatestone Rotary club for to help them raise money, for fellowship and a quiz, and almost triumphing!

Second to (n)one

A great evening out at the Rotary Club of Ingatestone’s Quiz Night. All in aid of the Prostrate Cancer Charity and the Rotary Foundation.

A cold Saturday night but a warm hall packed with participants. Sixteen tables of up to ten or twelve on each, so over 150 Rotarians and their partners and guests took part. Our club was represented by President Mike Ginn and Sue, Secretary Ed Harrison and Margaret, and Peter Greene and Wendy. The smallest table in the room.

Nine rounds of questions, ten questions per round, plus two sheets of Dingbats, and a Joker to play.  This was no easy evening of relaxation but a testing interval that stretched their knowledge to its limits.

Thanks to the entrance Fees and a raffle the night made
